Dean Beaver

My background in the industry is mostly based around sport performance. I have previously worked in a broad cross-section of team and individual sports, however my main experience in sport has been within rugby and boxing.

Outside of the sporting world I have also worked with a number of members of the armed forces, and the emergency services, helping them meet fitness entry requirements. this has helped me to develop a strong understanding of how to work towards a specific performance goal. My own sporting background is mostly in rugby, rather unsurprising considering I was born and bred in Twickenham.

Having successfully undertaken an undergraduate degree in Sport Science and a masters degree in Strength and Conditioning my practice is strongly underpinned by my scientific knowledge. This knowledge and understanding is complemented by 11 years of lecturing on a Physical Education degree programme (I finished working in Higher Education on the 31st of July 2018). The content I delivered was based mainly around the lifelong physiological and biomechanical development of the person.

Working within the Higher Education sector exposed me to the most recent coaching research, this led to me developing a very diverse and holistic coaching style. The combination of all of my accumulated experience and qualifications uniquely qualify and enable me to provide a supportive environment for my clients whilst designing effective individualised training programmes for whatever your specific situation is.​
